On March 28, 2009, all those sneaky little Munkibuts staged a surprise party for Lolah's 80th birthday. It was hosted by Marc, Dalynn, and Lauren and the Greaves and Anderson families flew in from Seattle, the Korelc family gathered from the four corners of the city, and RB and Charlie made an appearance as well. She was overwhelmed with tears of joy for having all of her children, grandchildren, and close friends gathered together in her honor. Good job everyone!
Phyllis, Jim, and Ian are embarking on a new adventure as they sell off all their belongings and move up to Seattle. Marc and Dalynn are hosting a going away party in their lovely home to send the little Munkies on their way. Contact Marc and Dalynn for the date and time. It will probably take place on the 20th of November when Mika is home for the Thanksgiving holiday. As much as we hate to see them go, we wish them luck and all the happiness in the world.
The entire Korelc clan, Lazo clan, Lola, and I were present to help Mick celebrate his 29th (??) birthday. At least that's the number we were told. And though Mick was hoping to get out of Macaroni Grill without a song, we just couldn't let that happen. Hmmm...Happy Birthday in Italian sounds like...Happy Birthday.
We all had a great time cruising around Lake Austin on the party boat on Saturday celebrating Mika's transition from girlhood to womanhood. It was a perfect day and a perfect party. Thank you to Alysia for making it so fun. Let's do it again soon!
